What Is the PMP® Credential and Why Is It Important?
The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is a certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® and recognized internationally. Someone with the PMP® credential has proven that they have the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to lead and manage projects effectively. Project management work is practiced across a wide range of industries. There are different approaches to project management, including the more traditional Waterfall approach and the later Agile and Hybrid frameworks.
The PMP® credential is one of the most valuable investments someone working in the project management field can obtain.
