The Rock the PMP course materials are specifically designed to provide future Project Management Professionals® with the information and experience they need to pass the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) PMP® certification exam.

We offer two Course Bundles (the video course + practice exams) and three different Exam Packs (practice exams only). The products feature various combinations of the following:

  • 50 video lectures with section quizzes
  • 10 foundational level exams, subject specific, with 30 questions each to help you understand key concepts and terminology used by PMI®.
  • 6 intermediate exams with 90 questions each that represent the breadth of project management
  • 8 advanced exams that are structured in the format of the PMP® exam and are similar or more complex than the questions you’ll encounter on the actual exam.

Our method has proven to be very successful. We’ve led countless PMP® exam prep courses over the years, teaching thousands of students internationally, and the vast majority pass the exam on the first try.

The course seamlessly integrates with Doug Boebinger’s book, The Ultimate PMP® Certification Manual (sold separately but extremely helpful for course participants).

When you purchase the book, you can follow along with its in-depth information as you view the lectures. Reference numbers in the book correlate with the reference numbers provided in the video lectures.

The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is a certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® and recognized internationally. Someone with the PMP® credential has proven that they have the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to lead and manage projects effectively. Project management work is practiced across a wide range of industries. There are different approaches to project management, including the more traditional Waterfall approach and the later Agile and Hybrid frameworks.

The PMP® credential is one of the most valuable investments someone working in the project management field can obtain.

To qualify for the PMP® exam, one must satisfy three prerequisites: Education, Experience, and Project Professional Training Requirements. Specific information can be found on the Project Management Institute’s website.

The exam consists of 180 questions compiled from PMI®’s Exam Content Outline (ECO), a guide that organizes project management into three “domains”: People, Process, and Business Environment. Questions on the test focus on the test-taker’s practical judgment, not just memorization of facts.

The PMP® credential demonstrates a verified, standardized level of competence recognized by employers worldwide. Project managers holding the PMP® certification consistently earn significantly higher salaries than their non-certified counterparts.

Businesses tend to regard hiring credentialed project managers as a risk-reduction strategy because certified professionals utilize a disciplined approach to project delivery, which directly translates into better outcomes.
